Richard is a Senior Fund Director at Oberon Investments based in London. He has been managing the TM Oberon UK Special Situations Fund, the TM Oberon UK Core Fund since 2018 and the TM Oberon UK Smaller Companies Fund since 2022.
Richard previously worked at Legal & General Investment Management for 15 years where he managed the award-winning L&G UK Alpha Trust and L&G UK Special Situations Trust as well as several segregated mandates. Prior to LGIM he worked at M&G Investment Management, and prior to that Scottish Amicable Investment Management.
Richard has a master’s degree in Engineering and Economics from Oxford University.

Rakesh Shaunak, CEO
Rakesh currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of MHA. He is also a Senior Director at Baker Tilly International, where MHA is the UK’s sole member. Rakesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with a top five firm, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. His expertise includes business advisory services, with a significant portfolio of corporate clients. As an Audit Partner, he oversees several of MHA’s PIE audits, including those of international banks and listed companies. Additionally, Rakesh is a non-executive board member of a listed property company and was formerly Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee at the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Steve Moore, CFO
Steven qualified with MHA and became a partner in 1986. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and has been a member of the Board since 2011. He has worked closely with Rakesh on the Board for the past 13 years and leads on the mergers and acquisitions across the Group. He is Regional Chair of the Central, Midlands and Welsh regions. Steven has a client facing role specialising in the professional practices sector. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant having trained with MHA and an audit Registered Individual. His experience includes providing business advisory services to mid to large privately owned businesses and subsidiaries of foreign parents.

Marie-Claire DwekMarie–Claire Dwek was appointed as CEO of Newmark Security plc in 2013. Prior to this, she spent more than a decade in real estate investment & management developing a successful portfolio of diversified investments. Earlier in her career Marie-Claire gained deep experience of the security technology sector as she served as Marketing Director for an electronic security provider.
Marie-Claire is responsible for setting and implementing corporate strategy and ensuring subsidiaries’ goals are aligned with those of the broader global group. She adopts a philosophy of leading from the front and takes an active role with customers and the broader industry alike.
Paul Campbell-White
Paul is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with KPMG in 2000. Paul has over 20 years’ experience of working in finance departments of both large and small groups. Paul joined Newmark from CognitionX, an events and software business, where he was the Chief Commercial Officer developing the commercial strategy for their new software and service products.
Prior to that Paul was the Chief Finance Officer of Brave Bison Group plc, an AIM listed digital media business where he helped devise and execute a new strategy resulting in doubling the market valuation of the group. Paul has held other senior finance roles in Warner Bros., Shine Group, Channel 4 and ITV where he gained experience in managing US operations, mergers and acquisitions, system implementations and process improvement reviews.

Iain Ballie, Founder
Iain is a founder director and the executive chairman of Asset Match. Iain began his career at Strauss Turnbull and Co and has been involved in UK and European Capital Markets for over 35 years as a trader of both equities and corporate bonds, culminating in heading European credit trading as a Managing Director of Salomon Brothers. Iain was also a founding director of LBDP, a successful agency broker in European credit.
From 2003 to 2007 Iain was CEO of MarketAxess Europe, the leading platform for electronic execution in the credit market. He was responsible for all facets of the company’s European business and during his tenure MarketAxess saw a ten-fold increase in activity across the platform. Before founding Asset Match Iain was Head of Fixed Income at Christopher Street Capital.

Titon Holdings Plc (LSE: TON) is a UK-based manufacturer of residential ventilation systems and window and door hardware, supplying housebuilders, contractors, window and door fabricators and specialist distributors across the UK and selected international markets.
Founded in 1972 and listed in 1992, the Group operates in regulation-driven product categories where evolving building safety and indoor air quality requirements are increasingly mandating their products particularly in mechanical ventilation solutions. Titon has a long operating history in these regulated markets supported by an establish brand and in-house engineering and manufacturing capability.
Following several years of underperformance, a new Chairman and CEO were appointed in 2024. The business now has an enhanced leadership team and is executing a structured turnaround focused on margin improvement, operational excellence and profitable sales growth.
With a strong balance sheet, net cash and owned property, Titon is positioned to invest selectively to improve its overall financial performance while maintaining disciplined capital allocation. Management believes the Group offers an attractive medium-term upside as execution improves and UK housing activity normalises.
Jamie Brooke was appointed to the Board in January 2024 as Non-executive Chair. Jamie has extensive experience in quoted fund management and private equity, beginning his career at 3i Plc and later holding senior roles at Hanover Investors and in the Volantis small-cap team within Lombard Odier, Henderson and Gartmore. He currently serves as a Director of Kelso Group Holdings Plc and non-executive Director at Flowtech Fluidpower Plc, Chapel Down Group Plc, Oryx International Growth Fund Plc, Triple Point Venture VCT Plc and is on the Investment Advisory Group to Rockwood Strategic Plc. Jamie trained as a chartered accountant (ACA) with Deloitte.
Tom Carpenter joined Titon in April 2024 as Chief Executive. Tom has a proven record of growing businesses both organically and through acquisitions, with experience in publicly listed companies, including various leadership roles at Belden Inc. since 2016, such as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development and Managing Director of PPC Broadband Fiber Ltd. He previously served as CEO at M2FX Limited and holds an MBA from Loughborough University and a degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
Carolyn Isom joined Titon in December 2019 as Finance Director of Titon Hardware and was appointed to the Titon Holdings Board as Chief Financial Officer in December 2021. She is ACCA qualified and has worked with several companies in the construction sector.

Richard Crow, Professional Private Investor
Also known as @RebelHQ (Cockney Rebel) After starting life as a milkman and ending up paralysed after a motorbike accident at 19 years old, Richard started investing in 1982. Mainly punting penny shares and buying unit trusts all went quite well until the 1987 Black Monday Crash where he lost a third of his investments. Undeterred he returned to investing several years later and had good success in the tech boom, selling out early before most of the tech rout. Thereafter, he started investing and trading, mainly in small caps finding many multi-baggers and much greater success. He now runs a very restricted private chatroom 270 or so members where members discuss the stock news of the day and stock merits and opinions, together with chat and banter re life, gardening, photography and more.
Mark Simpson
Mark Simpson is a Value investor, writer and presenter. He focuses on finding sources of edge in the market and developing practical ways to overcome behavioural biases. His book Excellent Investing describes this approach and how investors of all types can generate higher and more consistent returns by developing a strategy that plays to their strengths and overcomes their weaknesses
