  • Vietnam Holding Ltd (VNH) invests in high-growth companies in Vietnam, focusing on domestic consumption, industrialisation, and urbanisation. Launched in 2006, VNH is a closed-end fund listed on the London Stock Exchange.     Craig Martin, Executive Chairman, Dynam Capital

    Craig has been involved in Vietnam for over 25 years. In 2005 he moved to Vietnam as an investment director and Head of Private Equity for Prudential Vietnam (now Eastspring), and led several notable investments. Prior to Prudential, Craig was a founding member of Standard Chartered Private Equity team, and in the 1990s ran a management consulting firm across Indochina. From 2010 to 2018 he was a managing partner and co-CEO of CapAsia, a private equity manager, investing across Asia's emerging markets.

    Craig joined with Thinh in early 2018 to co-lead the establishment of Dynam Capital. Dynam has been appointed as the fund manager of VNH since 2018.

    Craig has a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of York, UK, and a MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

    Toby Virno, Investment Manager

    Toby joined Foresight Group in 2018. With nearly a decade’s experience in investment and financing of sustainable assets and projects, particularly solar and BESS, he is part of the Foresight Solar team delivering the Company’s investment mandate.

    Simon Barnard, Portfolio, Smithson Equity Fund

    Simon Barnard joined Fundsmith LLP in September 2017. He started his career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in 2003 as a research analyst on the technology and industrial sectors. He moved to the consumer sector in 2008 and became the Global Lead Portfolio Manager for the consumer discretionary sector in 2012. In 2014 he was named Portfolio Manager of the "Global Income Builder Fund", a multi-asset strategy. Upon its launch in 2016 he became Portfolio Manager of the "Global Millennials Fund", a concentrated global equity growth fund. Simon has a First Class degree in Economics from Cambridge University and is a CFA charter holder.

  • Emma joined the Investment Trust research team at Winterflood in September 2015, after working for the Wealth Management Association for a year, and became Head of the team in August 2022. She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2014 with an Economics degree and is a CFA® Charterholder.

    Nicola Takada Wood, Managing Director Japan

    Nicola joined AVI in January 2025 as Managing Director Japan. She joins Asset Value Investors from Redwheel where she was Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Advisor of the Japan strategy. Prior to that she was responsible for Japanese Equity Sales at Mizuho International and Japanese Sales Trading at Goldman Sachs (Japan). Nicola has a BSc from University of London, SOAS.
