After starting life as a milkman and ending up paralysed after a motorbike accident @ 19 years old, Richard started investing in 1982. Mainly punting penny shares and buying unit trusts all went quite well until the 1987 Black Monday Crash where he lost a third of his investments. Undeterred he returned to investing several years later and had good success in the tech boom, selling out early before most of the tech rout. Thereafter, he started investing and trading, mainly in small caps finding many multi-baggers and much greater success. Interests are wildlife, art painting and sculpting), self-build, food, (in particular cheese) humour.

Jim joined Argentex in October 2023 and as CEO sets the strategic direction of the business. He oversees the front office, including the business development and revenue generation of Argentex. Previously, he was CEO of Cardsave, one of Europe's largest independent payments businesses. He was also a director of Retail Merchant Services which was sold successfully to TCV Private Equity. He has acted as a consultant and adviser to various Fintech businesses, including Argentex.
Guy Rudolph, Chief Financial Officer
Guy joined Argentex in January 2024. At Argentex he is responsible for financial strategy of the Group and the entire finance function as well as legal and corporate governance matters across the Group. In addition, he is responsible for the Group's sustainability strategy. Guy is a qualified chartered accountant and began his career at PwC before joining Vodafone where he spent 16 years driving transformation across international teams in his roles as Group Audit and Risk Director, and Director of Group Financial Operations. He was also the deputy CFO of Camelot from 2017 to 2022 and later interim Director of Group Finance at Rank Group plc

Andy Walters, Executive Chairman Quartix Technologies PLC
Andy Walters founded Quartix in 2001 with three colleagues. Prior to that he was Managing Director of a subsidiary of Spectris plc for 6 years and had spent 15 years with Schlumberger in the UK and France, where he was marketing director of the payphones and smart cards division. Andy holds an MA in electrical sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Kevin Taylor (Covering Gamma Communications)
Kevin is an experienced small-cap investor having invested his own and family money for over 30 years. He began his City career in 1993, training as an actuary with a focus on defined benefit pension schemes. In 1997 he moved over to Investment Banking, joining a structured finance team that created bespoke financial solutions, and provided debt finance, for large corporates.
After leaving banking in Feb 2021 Kevin worked for two years as CFO of a small software business that he helped to rescue from administration. He is now a full-time professional Investor. Kevin is one of the more sceptical panel members and likes to see proof that demonstrates management’s claims before investing in a management team. He invests on a long-term basis but also trades short-term trends on both the long and short side of markets.
Damian Cannon (Covering Gaming Realms)
Damian is an experienced private investor who has tried almost every successful strategy, and many that weren't, over the last 20 years. During that time, he has published deep-dive analysis of individual companies, blogged a monthly trading journal and established the StockSlam social investor event. He probably could have saved a lot of time by sticking with the Zulu Principle from the beginning but where's the fun in that?
